##Position Summary
Kiewit is hiring experienced Tig B-Pressure Hand Welders for the Woodfibre project located in Squamish, BC.
##Requirements
- Valid Journeyperson Red Seal Welding ticket
- Valid Class A Pressure Welding Ticket for BC
- If you hold an equivalent ticket from another province, you must be willing to obtain BC registration
- 3+ years’ experience with tig (GTAW) welding stainless steel and carbon
- 3+ years’ experience with stick (SMAW) hand welding
- RMD experience is an asset but will train
- Accepting DSPs/Independent Contractors
- Must pass weld tests through CLAC – stainless tig, carbon tig, carbon stick
##Shift Information
- 14/7 rotation
- Must be available to work days or nights
##Additional Information
- Accommodation provided (Floatel)
- Base Wage: $54.00 for B-Pressure Tig Welders
- If DSP/Independent Contractor: $72.84
- Additional site premiums available upon:
- Successful completion of 30 DI using RMD
- Completion of 50 DI with no repairs
- Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a SureHire Drug, Alcohol, & 50lb Fitness to work test
