Job Details
The City of St. Albert is recruiting individuals to join our Recreation & Parks department as Water Play Park Attendant – Level 2’s. Reporting to an Aquatics Operations Coordinator, these positions are responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming Water Play Park environment.
Qualifications
- Intermediate First Aid and Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
- Preference will be given to those with a National Lifeguard award and/or holds a current Life Saving Bronze Cross award.
- Ability to work independently and alone for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and logically to handle customer concerns and emergency situations effectively.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Shift supervisor experience is considered an asset.
- Equivalent combinations of experience and education may be considered.
Hours of Work
- Flexible schedules, including evening and weekend shifts. A minimum commitment of 12 hours per week is required.
- Shift options include 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
Compensation
The wage ranges from $21.43 - $26.10 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
