We have an exciting opportunity as a Housekeeping Supervisor.

As a housekeeping supervisor you will oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are consistently met. This role reports to the Housekeeping Manager and supervises room attendants and housepersons, coordinates cleaning schedules, conducts inspections, manages supplies, and supports training and performance management to maintain high service quality.

What is expected of me in this role?

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities and staff schedules
• Assign duties and inspect completed work to ensure compliance with cleanliness and quality standards
• Train, coach, and support housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and equipment use
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment; submit purchase requests as needed
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Address guest, resident or colleague concerns related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally
• Maintain accurate records, including attendance, inspections, and incident reports
• Collaborate with management and other departments to support operational needs
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies
• Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms
• While performing the duties of this job, the colleague is regularly required to sit; stand; bend; walk; reach, pull, use hands or finger; or feel objects, tools or controls; may need to lift boxes (up to 30 lbs);
• Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, are based on the hotel's operational needs.

Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services required
• Supervisory or team lead experience preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
