The Cahill Group is seeking qualified and skilled applicants for aFacilities and Project Supportto support our operations at ourCahill Fabrication Mechanicalshop in St. John’s, NL. As a Facilities and Project Support, you play a paramount role in supporting hands-on tasks and daily operations. You will be responsible for basic cleaning of company vehicles, sorting and organizing inventory, and managing tools, materials, and consumables from some of our best-in-class projects.

As a Facilities and Project Support, you possess good communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about contributing to a collaborative work environment with a boots-on-the-ground approach and adhering to all security procedures and occupational health and safety protocols. This will be a full-time position, based out of our office on Southside Road, St. John’s.

What will you do?

• Basic cleaning of company vehicles.
• Compiling current inventory and any supplies returned from job sites.
• Organizing tools, materials, consumables and any other project related items in yard, seacans, tool crib, etc. as applicable.
• Maintenance of small tools and equipment.
• Assisting with tool crib operations.
• Assisting with shipping and receiving operations.
• Picking orders in yard and tool crib to fill requisitions.
• Driving company vehicle to fulfill various duties such as deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
• Keeping walkways and doorways clear of snow.
• Other duties as required.

What will you bring?

• Completion of high school or equivalent.
• Clear driving record and a valid driver’s license.
• Hard working and capable of manual labor.
• Trustworthy.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
• Capable of labor-involved work and lifting items up to 50 pounds when required.
