Field Supervisor - Concord Parking
Concord Parking is looking for a Field Supervisor to support our expanding field operations. Are you an organized, experienced leader who enjoys a variety of work, supporting frontline staff, business operations and traveling to various sites in the city each day?
Scope of the Position:
Concord Parking Newfoundland and Labrador is managed by a team of supervisors, including the Branch Manager, Site Supervisor, Field Supervisor and Team Leads. The Field Supervisor position is a multi-faceted leadership position which is responsible for managing all field operational activities. Daily duties include supervision and training of staff members, recruitment, parking equipment maintenance and repairs, daily inspections of sites and signage, staff break coverage and assistance, incident response and investigation. In coordination with the Site supervisor, assist with administrative duties such as payroll, scheduling, customer responses and permits. Key responsibilities:
- Coordinates day-to-day field operations and the supervision of all field staff and Team Leads.
- Supervises and meets regularly with field staff to build relationships, provide guidance, support, coaching and oversight.
- Provides motivational and disciplinary discussions with all field staff as needed.
- Ensures all field staff have adequate training and orientation based on industry, corporate and client standards.
- Ensures all sites have up-to-date operational procedures and instructions, and these policies and procedures are followed.
- Provide coverage wherever/whenever necessary to cover sick days, vacations, and other staff shortages.
- Responsible for recruitment. Screening, interviewing and selection of new field staff with support from the Site Supervisor.
- Monitors Incident Reports and takes appropriate action on the reports that are related to sites within the portfolio.
- Performs site and staff audits for quality assurance of services delivered following company policies.
- Responsible for inspecting the parking facilities and all signage daily to ensure it is correct, safe, efficient, and operating at or above company standards.
- Monitoring and ensuring maintenance of company equipment, including but not limited to, vehicles, pay stations, lock boxes, hand-held units, printers, and enforcement equipment.
- Reports regularly to the Branch Manager on matters of company, staff or client interest, or significant events to ensure that any significant issues are followed up with in a timely fashion.
Qualifications; Skills Knowledge & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity (preferably in a Parking Management setting).
- Must have grade 12 education or equivalent, post secondary education an asset (combination of experience and education will be considered).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and app-based and database technology.
- Hold a Valid Class 5 driver’s license for a minimum of 2 years, with a clean driving abstract.
- Knowledge of the parking industry and general knowledge of parking operations.
- Excellent communications and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrable ability to deliver strong leadership, outstanding customer service in a fast-paced and pressurized environment.
- Must have access to a personal vehicle to use for work.
Salaried full time position, Monday to Friday (Day shift)
Salary Pay Band 2: $45,800.00 to $50,300.00 depending on experience.
