Position Summary Tacten is currently seeking IRATA Level 1 Technicians to support projects in the Atlantic Region (St. John’s and surrounding areas). This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic industrial environment with strong opportunities for hands-on experience, growth, and skill development. Responsibilities Assisting with a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks at height Proficient in using various tools and techniques while suspended on ropes Assisting with rescue services when required Work within a composite crew and assist Journeyman with various tasks Coordinate with other personnel on the job site to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others Requirements Certifications & Qualifications IRATA Level 1 Certification NL Fall Protection Certificate NL Confined Space Certificate Skilled Labourer Ticket considered an asset Safety certifications as required by client and provincial standards Core Competencies Strong work ethic and reliability Exceptional safety and quality awareness Ability to maintain positive working relationships with clients and co-workers Strong problem-solving and time management skills Self-motivated with the ability to work at a high technical and performance level Additional Requirements Valid driver’s license Clean driver’s abstract Must be local to St. John’s and surrounding area Benefits The strength of Tacten lies in its outstanding people.
