Safety Manager

Penn-co Construction is a leading construction company currently hiring a Safety Manager to join our team working at our Steinbach office. As the Safety Supervisor you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. This role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to effectively communicate safety protocols across various departments. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the safety team to ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related inquiries and concerns within the

• Conduct site inspections, identify hazards, and implement solutions to mitigate

• Develop and implement safety programs for employees and

• Investigate and report on all accidents, incidents, and near

• Ensure that all safety equipment is properly maintained and used

• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to identify and mitigate potential safety

• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training

• Stay up to date with industry safety standards and best

• Able to travel to remote sites in

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.

• NCSO or equivalent certification from a recognized training

• A Class 5 driver’s license with willingness to

• Proven experience in a safety management role or similar

• Experience in the construction

• Strong knowledge of Canadian safety regulations and

• A leader who is relational, collaborative, and confident in their ability to influence

• Sensitivity and adaptability to different cultures and

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic
