DUTIES
Reporting to the Electrician/Facility Manager, the Facilities and Maintenance Clerk supports the overall operation of campus facilities by

coordinating daily activities of custodial and maintenance staff, managing work orders, and ensuring timely completion of maintenance

requests. The incumbent is responsible for monitoring inventory, preparing purchase requisitions, and event setups, and liaising with internal

departments, contractors, and external service providers. The incumbent maintains accurate records and documentation, prepares HR

documentation, and supports workplace safety compliance. Additional responsibilities include overseeing residence and housing unit

inspections and maintenance, coordinating grounds services and equipment maintenance, issuing keys and parking passes and serving as

a primary contact for facility-related inquiries while promoting a positive and productive work environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Office Assistant Certificate; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

• Experience working in an administrative or facilities support role

• Strong understanding of building maintenance

• Excellent organizational and time management abilities with keen attention to detail, and the capacity to effectively multi-task and

meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment

• Experience with MS Office applications
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to life-long learning
