About the role:

The Hospital strives to deliver care that is centred on patients and families. Patient and Family Centred Care (PFCC)

is the provision of care that is respectful of, and responsive to individual patient/family preferences, needs, and values

and ensures that those values guide all decisions. Creating a caring environment for patients and families ensures

continuity of care and fosters a learning environment. Applicants are required to have a demonstrated knowledge,

understanding and commitment to this care philosophy.

All applicants must possess the following skills, experience and qualifications.

*Current registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO) as a practising MLT

(Medical Laboratory Technologist), or qualified to do so

*General experience as a licensed MLT duties in Core Lab ‑ Biochemistry, Haematology and Transfusion Medicine

*Good accountability, organization, communication, critical thinking, problem‑solving and teamwork skills

*Availability for all shifts times scheduled within the department (365‑7‑24 operation)

Salary Range: $36.840 to 50.240

adherence to the Hospital's Code of Conduct. Regular attendance at work is imperative, therefore, all applicants will

have to demonstrate a good attendance record to be considered for this position.
