Under the direction of the Production Supervisor / Team Lead you will be responsible for daily production targets. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Self-motivated individuals able to work safely with minimal supervision
• Reliable and punctual with good work ethics
• Able to work well in a team environment
• Previous experience working with small tools and building things is an asset
• Follow directions from the Department Lead Hand and Production Supervisor
• Communicate with Lead Hand or Production Supervisor any discrepancies or issues
• Any other duties deemed necessary by the Production Supervisor

Skills, Education, and/or Experience

The following are education and experience criteria used to evaluate the suitability of the General Labourer Profile or candidates for the position:

• Ability to safely use hand/power tools required to complete tasks
• Quality workmanship
• Attention to detail
• Good team player
• Ability to organize
• High level of accuracy
• Ability to learn new skills and apply them as required
• Ability to follow schedules to meet required deadlines
• Previous experience in assembly, electrical components, braising, and picking of parts in a warehouse environment is an asset
• Experience with Manual pump carts and materials handling preferred
• Forklift experience is an asset. In-house training is available
• Ability to read a measuring tape and strong math skills

Job Conditions

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift and carry objects weighting over 25 lbs but not more then 50 lbs.
• Physically demanding
• Extended periods of time standing and up and down ladders

• Overtime as required
• No shift rotation
