This family in Palmerston - Little Italy (Toronto), with 3 children, an 8-year-old, a 4-year-old, and a baby on the way in mid-August, is looking for a full-time nanny to be part of their team starting between September and November 2026. They’re offering up to $40 per hour, plus potential health benefits and other perks for the right candidate.

Schedule:

Tuesday: 12:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Wednesday: 12:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Thursday: 12:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Friday: 12:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Sunday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Note: The family already has a nanny/housekeeper to help with childcare and housework from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM on Mondays and 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Tuesday through Friday. They are predominantly looking for after-school care and activity management during the week, along with Saturday support. The start date is flexible. The mom will be on maternity leave until approximately February 2027, so starting between September and November can work. Please specify your preference when applying.

Duties:

1.) The nanny will work alongside the family’s existing nanny/housekeeper. The primary focus will be supporting their two oldest children, with core duties including school pick-ups, coordinating transportation to activities, and planning engaging, age-appropriate educational activities. In the evenings, responsibilities include ensuring the children have a healthy dinner and guiding them through their bedtime routines. The family is also expecting their newborn in August, so some familiarity with newborn care is welcome, though involvement with the baby will be minimal initially and may grow as the family’s needs evolve.

2.) Light tidying at the end of the day is expected, though the bulk of household tasks are handled by their existing nanny/housekeeper.

They are a warm, active, and loving family. Their home is busy, sometimes a little chaotic in the way homes with children often are, but it is also full of affection, imagination, family meals, and people who genuinely care about one another. They are looking for a warm, energetic nanny to primarily support their two oldest children. The ideal nanny is someone who genuinely loves working with children, brings patience and enthusiasm to every interaction, and can seamlessly manage the different needs of two children at different developmental stages. They value someone who is organized and proactive, someone who anticipates what’s needed rather than waiting to be asked, and who brings a sense of fun and creativity to daily routines and activities.

A willingness to travel with the family occasionally is a bonus.

Driving is required, and a vehicle will be provided for work purposes.
