About the role
OVERVIEW
Performs a variety of technical procedures in CT and radiography that will require a certain amount of independent judgment. May be involved in some teaching of students in the practical aspect of Radiography and CT.
EDUCATION
-
Satisfactory completion of formal radiography training in an approved Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (C.A.M.R.T.) training school or equivalent

Registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario(C.M.R.T.O.)

Advanced knowledge/education in anatomy and physiology, including cross-sectional anatomy preferred
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years CT Technologist experience in the last three years preferred
- Minimum 2 years helical multi-slice CT scan experience Preferred
- Interventional Radiology and CT procedure experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to function in a professional and courteous manner
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative within scope of responsibility
- Must be available to work evenings, on-call & statutory holidays
- Good work and attendance record required.
