Purpose of role
Foresters Financial is looking to hire talented post-secondary students. This is a great opportunity for students to learn and gain valuable exposure within financial services.
Job Description
-
Monitor and consolidate data for internal portfolio dashboards and reporting packages.

Support documentation management, data analytics, and ad-hoc requests.
-
Assist in the preparation and review of performance, risk, and governance reporting.

Help streamline and standardize recurring reporting processes.
-
Conduct research on industry peers, competitors, and market trends in insurance portfolios.
-
Identify opportunities to automate workflows using Microsoft Copilot, and developing process improvements to optimize research and reporting.

Contribute to documentation of digital enhancements best practices.
-
Support the ongoing implementation of a Sustainability Risk and Reporting project.
-
Support other enterprise-wide priorities as necessary.
Key Qualifications:
- Completed a minimum of two years of post-secondary education and pursuing a degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration or Economics and will be returning to a post-secondary educational institution in fall 2025
- A team player and self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong Excel proficiency with ability to analyze, interpret, and manipulate data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Available to work full-time from May to August 2025
- Ability to come onsite in a hybrid capacity
- Flexible and dynamic individual who can adjust and prioritize accordingly to adapt to business demands and requirements
Salary Range: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

The actual base salary for this position will depend on several factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate in a discretionary variable incentive plan, results are subject to both individual and company performance.
