We are seeking a Senior School Math Teacher for a four month contract, who cultivates a dynamic, student-centered learning environment grounded in inquiry, exploration, and critical thinking. The successful candidate will design and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.

What You’ll Do:

• Teach 2 Grade 9 Math and 3 Grade 10 Math
• Prepare lesson plans, outlines and assessments using inquiry and problem-based learning that engages students, challenges them, and meets the subject-specific outcomes and expectations
• Have the ability to differentiate lesson plans based on the needs of your students
• Participate in co-curricular activities including coaching, clubs, trips and participating in the school community as a whole
• Make contributions that productively support the overall well-being and growth of students in the Senior School
• Integrate technology in the classroom in ways that enhance the student learning experience and deepen knowledge and conceptual understanding
• Communicate effectively with parents about all aspects of the overall program and the individual learning of each student
• Integrate diversity, equity, inclusiveness and belonging into the classroom learning environment

Who You Are:

• Must have an Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certificate in Mathematics
• Intermediate/Senior teaching qualifications
• A passion for aligning educational research with classroom practice
• Strong proficiency in Google Suite; knowledge of Brightspace an asset
• A growth mindset of continuous improvement and learning
• Culturally competent with a positive attitude toward cultural uniqueness, as well as a readiness to accept and respect others
• Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment for your students, with families and your colleagues.

Annual compensation is based on our Faculty Grid, which factors in qualifications and up to 12 years of teaching experience:

• Entry to 6 Years: $69,000 – $98,000
• Over 6 Years: $99,000 – $134,000
• Future Growth: Rates are set to increase for the 2026–2027 academic year.
