SUMMARY

About the Role – Night Audit (Part Time)

Hourly Rate: $28.46

The Night Auditor plays a critical role in both overnight operations and the overall guest experience. This position combines front-line guest service with financial accuracy, ensuring seamless operations and adherence to luxury service standards 24 hours a day.

As the primary point of contact overnight, you will deliver exceptional guest service while completing essential audit and reporting functions to support the hotel’s financial integrity.

Some of the responsibilities include:

• Complete and process all nightly audit procedures, including system back-ups and daily reporting
• Audit, balance, and reconcile all financial transactions, including cash, credit, and charge postings
• Review and verify guest folios, room charges, taxes, adjustments, and discrepancies
• Identify and report any variances or irregularities to the Director of Finance in a timely manner
• Prepare daily financial reports, including statistical data and income journal entries
• Balance and close all bank and transaction codes accurately
• Provide overnight guest services, including check-in/check-out, wake-up calls, and concierge assistance
• Serve as the main point of contact for guests overnight, ensuring a calm, professional, and service-focused presence
• Support front office operations in the absence of Bell, Door, or Valet services
• Respond appropriately to emergency situations and follow all hotel safety and security procedures
• Ensure guest comfort, safety, and satisfaction throughout the overnight shift
• Collaborate with the Front Office team and support overall hotel operations as required

Qualifications

• Previous Front Office or Night Audit experience, preferably in a luxury hotel environment
• Strong service orientation with excellent problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and remain composed under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in property management systems (e.g., Opera) is an asset
• Flexible availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
