JOIN OUR TEAM AND HELP LEAD WITH CARE, COMPASSION AND COMMITMENT!
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking dedicated healthcare professionals to join our high-intensity, time-limited interprofessional rehabilitation program, specializing in neurological conditions. Our team, led by a Physiatrist and comprising various specialists, focuses on providing comprehensive care to medically stable clients with neurological conditions, particularly those who have experienced a stroke or acquired brain injury. You will work collaboratively with a diverse team to deliver personalized care plans, with a focus on restoring function and optimizing quality of life. Join us in making a significant impact on our clients' recovery journey, helping them regain independence and successfully transition back to the community.
The Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) is responsible for assessing clients, developing a plan of care, implementing treatments and evaluating outcomes, in consultation with the client and/or other health professionals in accordance with the Standards of Practice, College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). The RPN works as part of an interdisciplinary team. The extent to which the RPN carries out these components of practice is determined by:
-
The complexity of the client’s condition including the predictability of the outcome for the client;
-
The knowledge, skill, and judgement required to assess for and deal with the risks involved; and
-
The resources (human and otherwise) available in the environment for collaboration and/or assistance.
Staff will be oriented to both 3 North and 3 South and will be scheduled to work on either unit based on operational needs.
HIRING DEADLINE: MAY 6, 2026
Applications will continue to be accepted until the position is filled. However, consideration of submissions after the deadline will be at the organization's discretion. Applicants are encouraged to apply by the Hiring Deadline.
This job posting is for an existing vacancy currently available within our organization.
