Pulmonary Function Technologist - Pulmonary Function Lab - Regular Full-Time 2026-16957
About the role
Summary of Duties:
-
Conduct all tests that are offered in the Pulmonary Function Laboratory.
-
Set up and carry out calibration/quality control of testing equipment.
-
Follow the laboratory’s standardized procedures and practices.
-
Maintain all documentation, records and supply inventory.
-
Ensure confidentiality and safety during patient testing.
-
Perform related responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist, RCPT(P) - An active member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Cardiopulmonary Technologist.
- B.Sc. in Biological Sciences or related disciplines
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, problem solving and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to change, innovate and be flexible in an ever-changing environment
