About the role
Location: Hybrid 2-3 days from Toronto, Canada
Type: Full-Time

Job Summary- We are looking for a seasoned Team Lead with over 10 years of experience in Enterprise Content Management (ECM) to lead large-scale content migration and modernization initiatives for one of our strategic clients in the financial services sector. This role demands a strong understanding of document lifecycle management, template-based communication platforms, governance frameworks, and hands-on experience with enterprise content tools like OpenText Exstream, Quadient Inspire, or similar CCM/ECM solutions. The candidate will manage globally distributed delivery teams and ensure high-quality outcomes across design, build, and testing.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Lead end-to-end ECM migration programs-from assessment and planning to execution and post-migration support.
Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and platform/tool vendors to define delivery strategy, scope, and priorities.
Build and manage a high-performing team of developers, QA, BAs, and platform engineers (onshore/offshore).
Define conversion standards, design principles, and testing protocols to ensure delivery quality.
Ensure document accessibility, compliance, and performance benchmarks are met.
Oversee sprint ceremonies, progress reporting, risk management, and delivery governance.
Support stakeholder engagement, steering committee updates, and change management phases.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
10+ years of experience in ECM/CCM platform implementation, migration, or modernization.
Demonstrated success in leading teams for ECM template and content migrations.
Strong knowledge of platforms like Quadient Inspire, OpenText Exstream/Stream Serve, or equivalent.
Understanding of template management, document composition, print-ready outputs, and PDF compliance (including accessibility/PAC testing).
Hands-on exposure to content automation, reusable component design, and testing automation frameworks.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client-facing skills.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and global delivery models.
Preferred Qualifications-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Prior experience in Banking/Financial Services domain is a plus.
Certifications in Quadient/OpenText or other ECM platforms (desirable but not mandatory).
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000–$130,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
