About the role:

• Provide excellent service while ensuring exceptional results in the collection of financial loans.
• Contact past due customers through the appropriate channeling methods, request and negotiate payment arrangements within authorized limits, and send correspondence to collection customers.
• Use company-specific policies and procedures to maintain and coordinate firm payment recovery.
• Assess and mitigate risk by referring accounts for further action.
• Document all call activity details in the Collections system to reflect any action taken, e.g., commitments to pay and/or amounts and dates agreed upon.
• Achieve individual collection targets to meet Department and Company-wide goals.
• Complete other collection responsibilities, as assigned.

What we’re looking for:

• You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• You thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• You have great conflict-resolution skills and the ability to make decisions independently.
• You remain calm while solving issues and have the patience to de-escalate difficult situations.
• You are tech-savvy and know your way through Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
• You are experienced with skip tracing and familiar with using 411, social media, and the ability to understand credit bureaus.
• You have at least 3 years of working with high-risk accounts in the auto financing industry
• You can collaborate well with various teams and departments.
• Clear criminal reference check.

Extra- awesome to have!

• Post-secondary education in Business Administration
• You have demonstrated work experience with sub-prime consumers
• You speak French

Working condition :

• You have flexible availability to work. Working hours can range anywhere between 9 AM to 9 PM EST Monday to Friday with alternating Saturday shifts; schedules are completed a month in advance and shifts are rotating.: 8:30 am-5:00pm, 9:30 am-6:00 pm, 12:30-9:00pm, and two Saturdays a month.

What you can expect - pay & process:

• Expected base hourly rate range of $25.00 - $28.75, plus the opportunity to earn uncapped monthly bonuses tied to performance—your success drives your earnings.
