Could you be the full-time Risk Manager in Toronto, ON we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your risk management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and detail-oriented teammates.

You'll play a pivotal role in driving risk, saving, and opportunity management across projects, ensuring compliance with best practices and delivering actionable insights to key stakeholders. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Managers, Core Teams, Scheduling, Cost Control) to identify and mitigate risks, conduct quantitative analyses, and facilitate workshops, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of developing and maintaining risk registers, but also leading brainstorming sessions to identify risks, savings, and opportunities and ensuring mitigation plans are on track.

We’ll look to you for:

• Owning the Risk, Savings and Opportunity (RSO) process from the bid phase to project conclusion
• Collaborating with Project Managers to advise on risk management strategies
• Facilitating workshops to collect inputs and run integrated Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) models
• Developing and maintaining risk registers, including defining risks and mitigation plans
• Providing clear, actionable risk reporting and dashboards for senior leadership
• Ensuring risk mitigation actions are integrated into project schedules and budgets
• Delivering RSO training and seminars to project team members
• Performing quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis using risk management software

• BA's degree in Engineering
• AACE Certified (DRMP) or PMI-RMP certification (an asset)
• IPMA-D or PMP certification (an asset)
• 7–10 years of experience in risk management
• Experience with Monte Carlo Risk Assessment tools
• QCRA and QSRA experience in multi-million-dollar railway or infrastructure projects
• Comprehensive understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and tools
• Strong analytical skills for risk and opportunity assessments
• Project management background
• Good knowledge of railway products and systems
• Experience with internal processes across multiple functions (Tenders, Projects, Engineering, Industrial, Sourcing, Supply Chain, and Quality)
• Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills

Compensation

The expected compensation for this role is$105,000 – $135,000 CAD per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
