Job Description:
At MKTG Sports + Entertainment, we offer a rewarding program for anyone seeking entry into the sports and lifestyle marketing industry. TheTrainee Programis a six-month, entry level, full time, immersive employment opportunity where you will gain practical industry experience. A full-time, permanent position at the end of the program is based on performance and position availability.
Job Description
The Brand Activations team develops and executes immersive brand experiences for clients across sports, entertainment, and lifestyle platforms. As a Trainee, you will support client programs throughout the activation process—from creative planning and logistics to onsite execution. Through research, coordination, and creative ideation, you will gain hands-on experience in experiential marketing while helping deliver engaging consumer experiences that bring our clients’ brands to life. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Support the planning and execution of brand activations and experiential marketing programs

Assist with onsite event management including venue walkthroughs, floor plan coordination, and set-up/tear-down

Help brief and manage Brand Ambassadors to ensure positive consumer experiences

Communicate with vendors and external partners to support logistics and secure program assets

Assist with budgets, expense tracking, and invoice reconciliation

Contribute to post-event recaps, reporting, and key client learnings

Brainstorm creative concepts and experiential ideas across client programs

Research venues, vendors, and experiential trends to support program development

Some travel (including weekends) may be required based on account needs
QUICK FACTS:
-Program start date: Monday, July 13, 2026
-This role requires 3-4 days each week on location along with other days as needed.
-**This role will be in the following location:**Toronto, Canada

-You will be reporting to someone more senior on the team.
Qualifications
-
College degree (Bachelor's or Associate's) preferred, relevant experience in event management and execution will also be considered. Brand ambassador work is considered an asset.

Self-starter, focused, self-motivated and ambitious

Strong organizational skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to efficiently manage conflicting deadlines and priorities

Proficiency in creating impactful presentations and comfortable speaking in front of peers / stakeholders

Comfortable working evenings and weekends & outdoors in a Canadian climate as required

Must be willing to travel and have a valid Ontario driver’s license

The salary range for this position is $40,000-45,000. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills.
