Job Summary
The Sales and Education Executive is responsible for sales planning and execution, managing accounts, and motivating their team of retail beauty consultants within the assigned region.
The individual in this role will provide strategic, operational and creative leadership to assigned retail accounts. Key responsibilities include development and execution of strategies to achieve retail and net sales plans
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Sales Planning & Execution
Achieve retail sales targets for assigned brands and accounts by partnering with retail management, motivating and managing sales staff and implementing marketing initiatives. Maximize profit contribution by increasing sales, managing expenses and negotiating retailer support.
Collaborate and execute successful events as mandated by the brand
Account Service
Provide exceptional service to assigned store accounts Work with store management teams to analyze the retail results and identify opportunities to develop the business to achieve and exceed sales plans Conduct formal quarterly/monthly business review in key accounts Conduct seasonal marketing presentations to all accounts Plan and execute special events to create animation
Motivating Retailer Beauty Consultants
Manage, mentor, and develop Beauty Consultants/freelance members in all assigned stores Be the lead representative of Beauty Consultants by being responsible for Shiseido “Omotenashi” standard Maximize job satisfaction, increase productivity and reduce turnover rate Provide in-store coaching of business skills and product knowledge Actively manage and review retailer/region specific KPIs Manage regional gratis, BA gifts, samples, collateral and other consumer facing tools
Uphold the Shiseido Brand Values and Management Principles
Represent the brand image and uphold the brand standards in corporate and retail settings Communicating the Shiseido story and corporate culture Strong proactive, reactive and creative problem-solving abilities to evolve with market
Qualifications & Competencies
University Degree or College Diploma in Business related disciplines
Preferred experience as an MUA Strong leadership, analytical, negotiating, and organizational abilities Minimum 5 years retail sales experience ideally in the cosmetic industry Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to all assigned accounts Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, andPowerPoint Must be detail oriented and ability to multi-task Excellent organizational skills
