What We Expect/Purpose Of Role
As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the financial operations of the business through accurate processing, reporting and analysis. You will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, preparing statutory and management accounts, and ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
In This Role, You Will
Oversee finance team members to perform daily financial administration and transactional processing. Prepare and analyse financial reports and accounts. Support the production of tax returns and compliance reporting.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls
Contribute to specialist areas or reporting, such as Roaming and Regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and review regular financial inputs, including invoices, payments, receipts, journals, and reconciliations. Oversight of the Fixed Asset Register - setting up jobs, posting expenditure, preparing and logging business cases and tracking performance against budget Monitor all inventory related transactions – including posting of transactions and running regular stock takes Prepare monthly management accounts and assist with the statutory financial statements, annual audit and regulatory reporting Assist with the month-end and year-end closure processes Perform variance analysis and provide meaningful commentary to support business understanding Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls. Collaborate with internal teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes.

Education
Education Requirements
Qualified accountant with 3 years + experience.
