We are hiring a Senior Software Developer to support enterprise application modernization initiatives for the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee (OPGT) Modernization Program. This role will focus on designing, developing, configuring, customizing, and integrating Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions and supporting enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE), Power Platform, enterprise integrations, application development, and post-MVP enhancement delivery. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative technical delivery team consisting of internal teams and vendor resources to deliver secure, scalable, and production-ready solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and development standards.

Role Overview

The Senior Software Developer will support assigned enhancements within the OPGT Modernization Program, delivering functionality beyond the Minimum Viable Product (MVP). The role requires hands-on expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE configuration, customization, integration development, testing, deployment support, and technical documentation.

The successful candidate will translate approved technical designs and user stories into tested, deployable enterprise solutions while following established architecture, security, governance, and development standards.

Key Responsibilities

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Configuration, Customization & Development (40%)

Design, develop, configure, and extend Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) solutions within enterprise environments.

Implement Dynamics 365 CE configurations including

Forms, views, and dashboards Workflows, business rules, and process automation Security roles and data access configurations Develop custom components, plugins, and extensions using technologies including: C# / .NET JavaScript Power Fx Work with Microsoft Dataverse including: Entity structures and relationships Data validation and integrity Platform extensibility capabilities Translate approved technical designs and user stories into functional, tested solution components. Enhance and modify existing Dynamics 365 CE solutions during post-MVP delivery phases. Support Dynamics 365 solutions integrated with enterprise platforms, including Finance & Operations (F&O) integration touchpoints.

Enterprise Integration & Data Flow Implementation (25%)

Develop and support integrations between Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and enterprise systems.

Implement integration components connecting

Enterprise applications External applications Supporting platforms and services Support data movement, transformation, validation, and processing activities. Work with inbound and outbound data exchange scenarios. Troubleshoot and support Dynamics 365 CE and Finance & Operations (F&O) integration touchpoints.

Apply enterprise integration patterns including

API-based integrations Service-based approaches Event-driven integrations Batch and scheduled processing Support Azure-based integration and data platform components.

Testing, Deployment & Production Readiness (20%)

Develop secure, maintainable, and production-ready solutions. Perform unit testing and ensure solutions meet quality and performance expectations.

Support

System testing Integration testing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Analyze and resolve defects while validating solution functionality and data accuracy. Participate in deployment activities and post-production stabilization.

Ensure solutions meet operational requirements including

Error handling and logging Performance considerations Scalability requirements Maintainability standards Development Practices, Collaboration & Standards Compliance (15%) Follow approved architecture, coding, security, and development standards.

Collaborate with

Developers Solution Architects Business Analysts Test Teams Internal and vendor resources Participate in iterative and enhancement-driven delivery approaches.

Support CI/CD and DevOps practices including

Version control Build and release pipelines Automated deployment/testing processes Prepare technical documentation and contribute to knowledge transfer. Communicate implementation details to support long-term solution sustainability.
