Role: Senior Front-End Developer- React JS

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada (Onsite) Experience: 7+ Years

We are seeking a Senior Front-End Developer with experience in building highly scalable UI solutions within a microservices-based architecture. This is an exciting opportunity to build innovative products from the ground up while working alongside a highly skilled cross-functional team to enhance our core banking platform.

Key Responsibilities-

Own the design, development, and delivery of high-quality features and enhancements. Provide accurate effort estimates and actively participate in sprint planning activities. Develop secure and reliable frontend solutions. Optimize and improve the performance of existing applications. Conduct peer code reviews and maintain coding standards. Collaborate closely with technical leads and team members to design, plan, and implement components and interaction patterns. Participate in technical design discussions and architectural decision-making processes. Contribute to architecture and technology discussions related to frontend applications.

Qualifications & Skills-

Strong frontend development experience using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js. Experience designing and consuming REST APIs. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused features. Familiarity with automated build pipelines, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Delivery (CD) practices. Experience using source code repositories such as GitHub. Proven ability to work closely with UX designers and Product Owners to deliver exceptional user experiences. Experience writing high-quality, testable code with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, and Playwright. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment. 5+ years of experience in web application development using Agile methodologies. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field.

Nice to Have

Experience with A/B testing methodologies and tools. Familiarity with cloud deployments and containerized distributed systems, including Docker. Experience working in Unix/Linux (*nix) environments.
