SRE Dynatrace Specialist Contract Length: 3 months (with possibility of extension) Start Date: ASAP Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – currently 2 days/month in office in Toronto, subject to change) Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Pay Rates: T4 - $74.70 INC - $84.80

Key Responsibilities Lead the implementation and optimization of Dynatrace observability solutions across enterprise environments. Manage the full Dynatrace lifecycle, including: Infrastructure monitoring Synthetic Monitoring Real User Monitoring (RUM) OS and database monitoring Incident management integrations Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade Dynatrace components. Manage Dynatrace tenants, environments, permissions, and user access. Monitor application health, availability, and performance across complex distributed systems. Enable end-to-end transaction monitoring across applications and technology layers. Partner with application owners, developers, infrastructure teams, and production support teams to identify and resolve reliability issues. Provide recommendations to improve application performance, scalability, and resilience. Configure alerts, thresholds, and dashboards aligned with SRE best practices and business objectives. Support reliability initiatives by ensuring critical business applications meet defined performance targets.

Required Qualifications & Experience 3+ years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace in enterprise environments. Strong experience implementing and managing Dynatrace integrations with: ServiceNow JIRA Deployment pipelines Strong understanding of Dynatrace Davis AI capabilities and experience leveraging AI-driven insights for proactive monitoring and incident management. Experience with Dynatrace Site Reliability Guardian (SRG), including: Workflows Guardians Objectives Automated go/no-go deployment decisions Experience integrating SRG into CI/CD pipelines to support release quality gates. Strong knowledge of Dynatrace WCCS framework / Gen-3 Dashboards and business-focused observability. Experience implementing true end-to-end observability across: Application tiers Web tiers Database tiers Strong understanding of SRE principles, including: Golden Signals SLIs SLOs SLAs Proficiency with Dynatrace Query Language (DQL). Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders. Dynatrace certifications are an asset. Background in software development, platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE. Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
