As a Technician I - Security with Bosch Building Technologies, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems. You’ll work with experienced technicians to gain hands-on experience with low voltage access control systems, CCTV setups, and prewiring projects.

Responsibilities:

Assist in installing and servicing electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV and intrusion alarms. Pre-wiring, installing, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cables, connectors, and related components Assist in system design and layout. Provide customer with training for proper system usage and respond to technical inquiries. Relationship building with clients and prospects for future opportunities. Administrative duties including project updates to Project Managers, completing and filing all project documentation. You may be required to work “night shifts” when needed based on project/service requirements Perform other tasks as required.

Required Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience in technical role within the integrated security industry Proficiency in cable pulling, installation, and basic troubleshooting Experience with security systems, CCTV, and alarms Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with customers and team members Valid Driver’s License with a clean abstract Able to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in a technical role within the integrated security industry. Post secondary training in electronics or equivalent is considered an asset. Basic knowledge of low voltage systems, CCTV, and prewiring is desirable but not required

Salary Range: $20.50 - $29.69 DOE
