Adjunct Faculty - Master of Health Administration
About the role
Fairleigh Dickinson University Vancouver Campus invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty position in the Master of Health Administration (MHA) program. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of professionally oriented graduate courses, with priority areas including Indigenous Health, Social Determinants of Health, Quantitative Methods for Research, Health Economics, and other courses currently assigned to sessional faculty within the MHA schedule.
Adjunct faculty are engaged on a teaching-focused basis and are expected to bring current academic and/or industry expertise into the classroom. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to support student learning through applied, practice-oriented instruction aligned with contemporary health systems leadership and administration practices. The University is particularly interested in candidates who are qualified and available to teach multiple courses across academic terms.
Required Qualifications:
Requirements
- Master’s degree required; PhD preferred, in Health Administration, Public Health, Health Economics, Epidemiology, Indigenous Health, Human Resource Management, or a closely related field
- Academically or professionally qualified to teach in one or more areas of the MHA curriculum, including Indigenous Health, Social Determinants of Health, Quantitative Research Methods, and Health Economics
- Demonstrated expertise in healthcare systems, policy, workforce, population health, or applied health research
- Relevant professional experience in healthcare or health systems preferred
- Prior post-secondary teaching experience is an asset
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada and successful completion of background checks required
