Position Overview:
St. George's School seeks a professional for the position of Admissions Operations Coordinator. Working collaboratively with a positive and dynamic Admissions Team, the role is primarily responsible for the administrative excellence and operational support of the Senior School admissions process. The successful candidate will convey the School's philosophy of education and value proposition in a compelling and articulate manner to prospective parent and student stakeholder groups.
The successful candidate is a detail-oriented administrator who will become an advanced (power) user of the admissions database (CRM), expertly managing application lifecycles, maintaining data integrity, and leveraging system functionality to support senior school enrollment goals. The individual is a relationship builder who will work to build and support relationships with students, parents, and partners both on campus and through digital communication channels.
As a collaborative member of the Admissions Team, this person will support work with both day and boarding student applications when required and is encouraged to utilize good business acumen - the ability to think and act strategically - to contribute proactively to a comprehensive enrolment plan.
This role follows an annual 9.5-month schedule, allowing you to focus intensely during the "on" season and recharge from mid-June through August. Enjoy a permanent full-time career with a built-in summer break.

Key Responsibilities:
**Recruitment & Outreach **
- Serves as primary point of contact for Senior School (Day & Boarding) admission inquiries via phone, email, and Parent Portal Database (CRM).
- Organizes logistics for on-campus outreach events, including open houses, boarding tours, and information sessions for prospective students.
- Supports and inspires initiatives to inform future outreach and marketing strategies for Boarding and Day audiences.
Admissions Processing
Approximately 75% of the job will focus on Day Applications, with 25% of the work supporting Boarding application processing.
- Participates in four essential elements to ensure a competitive admissions process and the long-term health of the student body:
- a) admission management
- b) student retention and re-enrollment
- c) research
- d) marketing
- Maintains records and the online database for School applicants (i.e. applications, recommendations, reports, etc.) and generates admissions files.
- Tracks the progress of incoming application materials and proactively requests missing information from families.
- Reads, reviews, evaluates and recommends candidates for admission.
- Collaborates with the Admissions team to meet annual student enrolment targets.
- Oversees and manages all documentation relating to student enrollment status and records (including study permits).
**Research & Analysis **
- Continually collaborate to evaluate all aspects of the admission program for the School with the goal of maintaining enrollment of mission appropriate and qualified students.
- Gathers/coordinates demographic research, marketing, advertising, and logistics to drive School enrollment.
- Seeks opportunities to remain current in educational trends, the competitive independent school landscape, and emerging trends in enrollment management.
Qualifications:

1-2 years of admissions or high-level administrative experience in an educational setting.

Strong organizational ability and administrative skills with an attentiveness to detail.

The ability to manage multiple deadlines, respond quickly to unexpected challenges and deliver favourable results.

Effective interpersonal skills and attitudes, including a high standard of professionalism, and a strong sense of ethics and confidentiality.

Experience with online databases and student information management software such as Blackbaud, Veracross, Workday, Calendly, etc.

Cross-cultural sensitivity and awareness.

The ability to represent the School professionally with both external and internal audiences.

Excellent command of the English language – both written and oral. Proficiency in other languages is considered an asset.

Willing and able to work occasional evenings and Saturdays as needed to support the admissions process and events.

Able to support, reinforce, and emulate the School’s six core values.
