In this role, you will bring together multiple image layers—photographic and computer-generated—into seamless, cohesive visuals. You’ll be responsible for integrating VFX elements with live-action footage, maintaining aesthetic consistency across your shots, and refining your work based on feedback from the Compositing Supervisor and VFX Supervisor.

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Strong artistic sensibilities with the ability to interpret and apply feedback effectively
• Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
• Excellent shot management capabilities and a sharp awareness of deadlines
• A resilient, positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in Nuke’s Gizmos and Groups workflows
• The ability to create clean, efficient, and well-structured scripts
• Adaptability, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning
• A solid understanding of cinematography, photography, colour science, and compositing best practices
• At least 5 years of experience as a compositor on feature films

Pay range: CAD $47.00–$75.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience, based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on role and business needs. The rate offered will take into account an individual's job-related knowledge, skills and experience, among other factors.
