**Title:**Nurse In Charge- Ulkatcho
Salary:$ 97,833 -$122,817 per year (pay range explained below)

**Contract:**Permanent Part Time-.5 FTE
**Hours:**0830-1700 rotating schedule
**Location:**Remote- Ulkatcho ( Anahim Lake)- Fly In/Out

**Bargaining Unit:**PIPSC BCFNHA Group (Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada)

About the role The Nursing Services Lead provides leadership across core nursing functions within a First Nations community. Responsibilities include oversight of community and public health, primary care, and home care programs, with a focus on health promotion, disease and injury prevention, population health protection, urgent and emergent care, rehabilitation, and palliative support. The role supports the delivery of culturally grounded, community-driven health services that align with primary health care principles. Additional duties include offering professional guidance to community leaders and health team members to strengthen knowledge, skills, and capacity within First Nations communities. This position plays a key role in advancing holistic wellness and equitable health outcomes.

About you Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized university or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Successful completion of approved training in public health nursing or approved training in obstetrics, mental health, or some other specialty.
• Two (2) years of nursing experience.

Registration

• Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNM).
• Requires a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
• Nurse In Charge, Remote must be remote certified (RNC) with BCCNM.

BC Remote Certification FNHA Community Health Nurse, have or are working towards Remote Certification (RNC) and can live anywhere in Canada. If you are currently not Remote Certified, speak with us today on how we can help you obtain your RNC, with extensive training, travel and salary paid for while you’re pursuing your certification.

The Pay Range is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full time equivalent hours.
