JOB DESCRIPTION
St. Paul School is seeking an enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher to join our caring and collaborative school community.
The successful candidate will lead our K–7 Physical Education program, creating engaging and inclusive learning experiences that build physical literacy, confidence, and a love of movement in all students. This role also includes the coordination of our athletics program, helping to foster participation, teamwork, and a strong sense of belonging for every student.
Duties include:
- Plan and teach Physical Education for Kindergarten to Grade 7
- Promote fitness, healthy living, and good sportsmanship
- Organize school sports teams, leagues, practices, and events
- Coordinate schedules, tournaments, and communication with other schools
- Encourage students to take part in sports and athletic activities
- Support and guide staff and volunteer coaches
- Ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all student athletes

On an on-going basis, we accept teacher applications for grade levels K to 12 for our Catholic schools throughout the Greater Vancouver Area and Powell River in beautiful British Columbia. All Catholics, non-Catholics, new education grads, and experienced teachers from across Canada are strongly encouraged to apply.
