About Better Outcomes for the Sickest & Tiniest (BOOST) Program
The Better Outcomes for the Sickest and Tiniest (BOOST) Program is focused on improving outcomes for the smallest and most vulnerable babies cared for in the neonatal intensive care unit. We are committed to generating high-quality evidence that informs clinical practice and supports family-centered care for the sickest and tiniest infants. Areas of research include:
- Clinical trials focusing on neonatal hemodynamics and brain health
- Parent and clinician engagement in decision-making
- Evidence synthesis and guideline development Based at BC Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia, BOOST collaborates with clinicians, trainees, researchers, and partners across Canada and internationally.
