The Senior Full Stack .NET Engineer will play a key role in building and evolving software solutions that support innovation in scientific research and digital transformation.
This position offers the opportunity to design, develop, and maintain modern applications across desktop and web platforms while working on impactful products used globally.
You will take ownership of features from concept through delivery, collaborating with product, QA, DevOps, and customer-facing teams.
The role combines technical depth, problem-solving, and engineering excellence in a remote-friendly, collaborative environment.
You will contribute to scalable architecture, clean code practices, automated testing, and continuous improvement across a diverse technology ecosystem.

Accountabilities
As a Senior Full Stack .NET Engineer, you will design, develop, and improve high-quality software applications while contributing to technical decisions, engineering practices, and product outcomes. You will work autonomously while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions.
Develop and maintain .NET Core applications across desktop and web environments, including WPF clients, ASP.NET Core Web APIs, MVC applications, and Minimal APIs. Translate product requirements and business needs into technical designs, implementation plans, and scalable software solutions. Own features throughout the full development lifecycle, including architecture, coding, testing, documentation, deployment support, and ongoing improvements. Build reliable automated testing solutions using frameworks such as MSTest, NUnit, or xUnit, including unit and integration testing practices. Collaborate with product managers, QA specialists, DevOps teams, and customers to refine requirements, review solutions, and deliver impactful features. Apply software engineering best practices including code reviews, static analysis, refactoring, documentation, and maintainable architecture patterns. Contribute to improving system reliability, performance, security, and overall code quality. Participate in technical discussions and help shape development standards, processes, and engineering improvements. Work with modern development tools and practices including Git, Azure DevOps, debugging tools, and continuous integration workflows. Support the evolution of applications through innovation, experimentation, and adoption of emerging technologies.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer with strong full stack development expertise, a passion for building quality applications, and the ability to independently drive technical initiatives from concept to completion.
7+ years of professional experience developing with C# and .NET Core, with 5+ years delivering production software applications. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred. Strong hands-on experience with WPF and ASP.NET Core technologies, including Web API, MVC, and Minimal APIs. Experience with Blazor WebAssembly and/or Blazor Server is an asset. Strong knowledge of Entity Framework Core, including ORM usage, migrations, and database performance optimization. Advanced understanding of asynchronous programming patterns using async/await and task-based development. Experience applying software design patterns such as MVVM, dependency injection, CQRS, and RESTful API principles. Strong testing experience with automated testing frameworks and a commitment to reliable software delivery. Proficiency with Visual Studio, debugging tools, source control systems, and development workflows. Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and transform high-level concepts into completed technical solutions. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to clean, maintainable code. Experience with additional technologies such as T-SQL, Docker, TestContainers, OpenTelemetry, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and secure development practices is a plus. Familiarity with OWASP principles, secrets management, and cloud security best practices is an advantage.
