As a Junior Biologist, you’ll help shape healthier ecosystems and contribute to environmental solutions that protect and restore the natural world across Canada. Working alongside experienced scientists and project teams, you’ll play a meaningful role in delivering biology programs that support sustainable development.
Your Impact
- Conduct field surveys, environmental inventories, and species assessments across diverse habitats.
- Support data collection, environmental monitoring, and reporting for regulatory submissions.
- Assist with habitat evaluations, impact analyses, and mitigation planning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate biological findings into project planning.
- Maintain high standards of data accuracy, environmental stewardship, and safety.
- Apply emerging tools and field methods to strengthen project outcomes.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Post‑secondary education in biology, ecology, environmental science, or a related discipline.
- Experience with fieldwork such as wildlife surveys, vegetation inventories, water quality sampling, or habitat assessments.
- Familiarity with GIS tools, data entry, and field equipment operation.
- Ability to work outdoors in varied conditions and contribute to collaborative project environments.

Compensation AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $60,100 – $79,600
MB & ON: $54,800 – $75,400
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $54,200 – $72,000
