If this sounds like you, this Human Resources & Legal Coordinator role, based at our Vancouver head office, could be your calling.
Working closely with the HR Advisor and General Counsel, you will support both Human Resources and legal administration functions. This role is a blend of HR coordination, documentation management, and legal administrative support, requiring strong attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
You will play a key role in ensuring smooth HR and legal operations by keeping processes organized, documentation accurate, and communication flowing efficiently across teams. You will be a trusted point of support for day-to-day coordination and administration across both functions.
Key responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day HR operations, including responding to employee and manager inquiries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, HR files, and documentation
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience
- Draft, update, and organize HR policies, procedures, and supporting documentation
- Coordinate HR communications and ensure timely follow-up on action items
- Provide administrative support to legal functions, including organizing and maintaining legal files and contracts, maintaining corporate minute books, and assisting with corporate annual maintenance
- Support general office operations, including mail, deliveries, and upkeep of shared spaces
- Assist with HR and legal projects and contribute to ongoing process improvements as needed
Ideally you have a a degree or certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration, Legal Administration, or a related field, along with some experience working in an HR, legal, or administrative support role. Experience managing corporate records and completing annual corporate maintenance would be considered an asset, but is not required.
