Position overview
We have a full-time, permanent opportunity for a Treasury & Investor Relations Specialist in the Corporate Finance Department. Reporting to the Director, Corporate Finance, the successful candidate will deliver financial analysis, modelling, and data-driven insights to support short- and long-term financial planning, including work related to funding approaches and capital considerations, aligned with established organizational strategies and governance frameworks. The role also supports relationships with investors and other financial stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare financial materials, reporting, and analytical support to assist leadership communications with external stakeholders such as investors, rating agencies, and financial institutions, contributing to transparency, consistency, and informed decision-making.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and analyse short-term and long-term funding requirements.
- Assist with debt management, including assessing the organization’s financing needs (short- vs long-term), evaluating cost of borrowing and financing alternatives, and providing analysis to align debt considerations with the company’s growth and investment plans.
- Prepare analytical materials and options for the negotiation of loan agreements and the renewal or extension of credit facilities.
- Monitor interest rate and financing risk, and track industry benchmarks.
- Support relationship management with key bondholders and investors.
Key qualifications include:
- 7 years of Corporate Treasury experience in progressively responsible positions, (cashflow forecasting, financial planning, managing debt issuance and repayment, refinancing or restructuring financing arrangements), supplemented by a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, Business or Science; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Professional designation CFA, CPA, CTP would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of capital structure, cost of capital, cash flow management and forecasting, debt financing and capital markets, financial markets, financial risk management.
- Advanced financial analysis and modeling skills. Ability to present complex financial information clearly, strong communication and presentation skills to be able to effectively communicate with investors, analysts, executives, and deliver presentations at investor meetings.
- Experience working in fast paced environment with multiple competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written .
Although not required, French language skills are an asset as we are committed to providing bilingual services to our visitors and passengers. Salary Range : $85,156 to $111,294 per annum, based on a 37.5-hour work week. This is individually tailored to reflect your unique experience, qualifications and internal equity.
