veritree is seeking a GTM Engineer who has experience building and scaling outbound sales infrastructure. Someone who can understand our current motion, identify exactly where we’re leaking, and build systems that make our sales and marketing teams measurably faster and more effective. You’ll evaluate, implement, and manage tools across our GTM stack and build integrations between tools where off-the-shelf connections fall short. You’ll sit at the intersection of sales, marketing, and RevOps — which means you’re translating field intelligence into system improvements in near real-time. Expect regular touchpoints with Sales leadership on pipeline quality, and direct collaboration with BDRs on sequencing and targeting.
6 Month Key Outcomes (6m KOs)
- Build and continuously replenish a market intelligence dataset of 1,500+ net-new companies engaging in environmental and alternative give-back initiatives, enabling sales and marketing to prioritize accounts with high intent.
- Design and operate AI-driven enrichment and outbound automation across email and LinkedIn that surfaces relevant company signals and automatically populates CRM-ready fields used in outbound sequences.
- Enable measurable improvements in Sales performance and pipeline quality, contributing toward a minimum 25% increase in meetings booked and a 15% increase in meetings per person progressing into the deal pipeline through improved targeting, timing, personalization, and trust-driven messaging.
What You’ll Do:
Outbound Infrastructure & Automation
- Design and maintain our outbound engine — prospecting workflows, lead routing, sequencing cadences, and follow-up automation across our BDR team.
- Collaborate to optimize our GTM tech stack (HubSpot, Apollo, Clay, n8n, enrichment tools, intent data) to ensure every tool is actively driving the pipeline.
- Build automations that reduce manual sales and marketing effort so our team spends more time in high-quality conversations and less time on data entry.
ICP Targeting & Account Intelligence
- Develop and continuously sharpen our ICP model for enterprise ESG buyers — using firmographic data, intent signals, public ESG commitments, sustainability reporting filings, and third-party enrichment to identify accounts primed to buy now.
- Go beyond the known ICP: proactively research and model emerging buyer segments that veritree hasn’t yet penetrated.
- Build scoring models that separate high-fit, high-urgency accounts from the noise — so our sales team spend zero time on the wrong target.
Experimentation
- Run structured A/B tests on outbound messaging, sequencing, and targeting — including how we leverage veritree’s verified impact data as a differentiated hook in outreach.
- Build feedback loops between BDRs, AEs, and leadership so winning experiments become standard practice fast.
Requirements
Qualifications
Professional Requirements or Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in sales analytics, market intelligence, revenue operations, research, or GTM strategy roles.
- Strong understanding of CRM administration (HubSpot or Salesforce) including workflow automation and pipeline architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Clay and at least one major sales engagement platform (Apollo, Outreach, Salesloft, or equivalent) — with demonstrated results.
- Comfortable with light scripting or no-code automation (n8n, Zapier, or APIs) to connect systems when off-the-shelf integrations fall short.
Personal Strengths

veritree ensures that compensation is reviewed fairly and consistently, with opportunities for salary progression tied to sustained performance. As such, the salary range for this role is $80,000 to $90,000 CAD.
This range is positioned around the 50th-75th percentile of market data we’ve collected, reflecting our commitment to competitive pay. Final offer amounts are based on individual experience and skillset of the candidate demonstrated during the recruitment process.
We reserve the >75th percentile of our salary ranges for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at veritree.
