The organization oversees a sizeable multi-family portfolio across Canada and maintains an active development and acquisition pipeline. Our client is seeking a Senior Investment Analyst to support investment analysis, portfolio performance monitoring, and financial reporting across its real estate investment portfolio. This role works closely with Corporate Finance, Property Accounting, Asset Management, and Investments, while also contributing to acquisition analysis and investor-level reporting. Principal Tasks and Responsibilities Include:

*Supporting underwriting and financial analysis of potential real estate acquisitions and development opportunities

*Preparing quarterly and annual external reporting, including MD&A and investor materials

*Assisting with investment committee materials and offering memorandum updates

*Supporting annual budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting across the portfolio

*Delivering monthly portfolio reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis

*Conducting market and submarket research, providing insights to the Asset Management and Investment teams

*Analyzing property-level performance (NOI, revenue trends, operating expenses) and providing recommendations

*Supporting portfolio-level financial models and scenario analysis to evaluate investment performance

Qualifications and Pre-Requisites:

*2-4 years of experience in investment analysis, real estate finance, FP&A, or a similar analytical role

*Exposure to real estate investment, asset management, private equity, or investment funds preferred

*Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with advanced Excel capabilities

*Solid accounting and financial reporting foundation

*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders

*Detail-oriented, analytical, and process-driven with a high level of ownership
