Cornerstone Co-op invites applications for the position ofSeasonal Home Centre Clerkto join our Home Centre team at ourWainwright, ABlocation. Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, this is a part-time temporary position working 24 – 40 hours per week.

What you’ll do:

• Engage with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences.
• Ensure department standards are met with inventory, ordering, stocking, merchandising, and displaying products.
• Operate point of sale system and prepare daily cash reconciliations.
• Follow opening and closing procedures.
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions.
• Process returns transactions efficiently.
• Maintain checkout operations by adhering to policies and procedures.
• Ensure proper maintenance and housekeeping in the store.
• Be familiar with and follow all safety procedures.
• Work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays on a rotational basis.
• Demonstrate behaviors that align with and strengthen the Co-operative's vision, mission, values, and focus on safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

• You have Grade 10 education or equivalent retail and/or customer service experience.
• Ability to regularly lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• You are action oriented, customer focused and work well with other Team Members.

• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver meaningful solutions, valuing diverse perspectives to achieve shared objectives.
