About the role
Cornerstone Co-op invites applications for the position ofSeasonal Yard Attendantto join our Home Centre team at our location inWainwright, AB. Reporting to the Yard Supervisor, this is a part-time, temporary position working 24-40 hours per week.
What you’ll do:
- Engage and interact with member-owners and customers to provide outstanding Co-op experiences.
- Ensure department standards are met with inventory, ordering, stocking, merchandising, and displaying products.
- Work with customers and contractors to answer inquiries about lumber and yard products.
- Receiving of product in the yard and in store and complete required paperwork.
- Ensure proper maintenance and housekeeping.
- Be familiar with and follow all safety procedures.
- Work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays on a rotational basis.
- Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative's vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
- You have Grade 10 education or equivalent retail and/or customer service experience.
- Ability to regularly lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
