The following Long Term Occasional vacancy is available:

W.D.S.S. - 1.0 - Sr. Ojibwe/Sr. First Nations, Métis and Inuit Studies (Immediate-June 26, 2026)

Qualifications/Experience:

• Ontario College of Teachers Certificate of Qualification in the respective division and subject area;
• experience in stated assignment is preferred;
• knowledge of current curriculum directions;
• excellent communication skills in order to effectively interact with students, parents and staff;
• positive interaction as part of the school team;
• consistent and fair classroom management;
• working with youth in a variety of settings;
• working with Indigenous youth is an asset;
• electronic report card experience is an asset;
• computer skills are an asset.
