Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Kapasiwin Bungalows. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various areas, ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment for guests and staff. Prior housekeeping or custodial cleaning experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals committed to quality service. This role offers an opportunity to work at a Premier Boutique Resort at Waskesiu Lake, Prince Albert National Park, SK where attention to detail and reliability are highly valued.

Duties

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Clean and sanitize guest cabins following established protocols
• Ensure guest cabins are prepared efficiently: Making beds, changing sheets and towels, cleaning washroom including toilets, bathtubs, sinks, mirrors and floors and cleaning of general cabin and kitchen area. General tidy, as required, during guest stay and extensive cabin clean on guest check out.
• Respond timely to guests' special requests for miscellaneous items.
• Collect dirty linen, garbage and recyclables.
• Maintain inventory in the Housekeeping area, laundry as required.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and trash removal
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
• Follow departmental policies and procedures.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
• Follow safety procedures and use appropriate cleaning equipment safely
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for all occupants

Skills

• Previous housekeeping experience an asset.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift moderate loads as needed
• Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude toward guest service and teamwork. Must be a team player with a positive attitude.

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
