SECONDARY SCHOOL CONTRACT TEACHING VACANCIES

6 sections (1.0 FTE) of English/History/Social Sciences focus at U-Turn Waterloo, effective September 1, 2026. **Please note Spec Ed Part 1 is required, Student Success/Guidance experience an asset**

Applicants must hold OCT qualifications in the assigned subject or subjects in order to be eligible to apply to this Contract vacancy. This posting is open to current WRDSB Contract Secondary School teachers as well as Probationary teachers, Secondary Occasional Teachers on the OT Roster, and External applicants. However, applicants will be considered in the following order:

1) Current contract Secondary School teachers

2) Occasional Teachers on the OT Roster

3) External applicants

PLEASE NOTE: Timetabling of sections is at the discretion of the Principal and may still yet to be determined. Further information may be provided at the interview.

Qualifications and Documentation Required:

• Applicants must be qualified for the position(s) to which they apply.
• Current Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario College of Teachers in the appropriate division (Intermediate/Senior) and subject(s).
• Other specific qualifications as noted.

The pay range for Secondary Teacher, LTO or Contract, is in accordance with legislation. Placement on the salary grid will be determined on QECO category and years of experience. Successful candidates will initially be placed at the starting step but may be eligible for higher placement on the salary grid upon submission of the required documentation verifying QECO category and/or prior related experience as approved by the Board, as outlined in this .
