Dishwasher / Kitchen helper

Capilano Golf & Country Club, a private facility located in West Vancouver, 15 minutes from the downtown core, is seeking a Dishwasher / Kitchen helper to join our Kitchen Team. This position reports to the Executive Chef and Chef de Partis.

This is an excellent entry level position involving dishwashing, vegetable and sandwich prep and some heavy equipment cleaning.

Duties and responsibilities include without limitation, the following:

• Ensure all dishes, pots and cooking utensils are cleaned and stored in the appropriate locations.
• Clean heavy equipment and side job duties as directed.
• Follow the rotating cleaning schedule as posted by supervisor.
• Assist in buffet set up including placement of chafing dishes, carving stations and plate set up.
• Assist with vegetable and basic food preparation.
• Clean and sanitize dishwashing areas and sinks at the end of each shift.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
