Information Technology Teacher

Part-time (0.25 FTE), Term position

West Vancouver Secondary School

Effective September 8th, 2026 until June 30, 2027

The annual salary for a full-time teaching position ranges from $63,347 to $116,190, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement. The salary will be prorated based on FTE.

**Required Qualifications and Experience **

A part-time (.25 FTE) Information Technology 9-12 position is available. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

• Appropriate qualifications and experience in teaching information technology would be considered an asset.
• Post-secondary coursework and/or ELL instructional certification considered an asset
• Knowledgeable in the use of Proficiency Scales for assessment
• Knowledge of the Ministry of Education Core Competencies, Big Ideas, and Learning Standards for the appropriate curricular area
• Hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate
• Commitment to and demonstrated experience using and integrating technology with the curriculum.
• An ability to use a variety of teaching and learning strategies that can accommodate the learning needs of all types of learners.
• A proven ability to develop a positive learning environment in the classroom and evidence of strong organization and classroom management skills.
• A commitment to and successful experience working collaboratively in a team setting.
