About the role
Neighbourly Pharmacy is currently accepting resumes for a full-time Barista (Food Service Staff) to join our Team at Starbucks (Pharmasave #416) in Weyburn, Saskatchewan.
Responsibilities
As the face of Starbucks, Baristas create uplifting experiences and craft perfect beverages, one person and one cup at a time. The opportunity is yours to take. Greet and welcome guests with hospitality - sometimes you will be the first person they see to start their day. Deliver the Starbucks Experience through legendary customer service, prompt service, and quality products. Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
Take customer orders and prepare food items according to standardized recipes
Complete guest orders including coffees, pastries and more. Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed. Keep the restaurant clean and organized. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed. Work with a team to make the guest’s day. Collaborate with other Baristas to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant.
Qualification
Apply to this Job if you demonstrate a passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences, and enjoy working with a successful team in a safe environment. Previous Starbucks experience is not a requirement but would be considered an asset. Cash handling experience, including cashiering duties, is an asset. Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is an asset. Proficiency in operating POS systems. Must have open and flexible availability to work various shifts, which would also include weekends and holidays. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues effectively. Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Experience in food preparation is a plus. Previous food service experience is an asset.
Schedule
32 to 40 hours per week. (Full-time) This location is open from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday to Sunday. Candidates must be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts to support operational requirements, including daytime, opening, and closing shifts, as well as occasional weekend shifts as needed.
