We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate Services team. This position is responsible for ensuring that Fleet Vehicle Agency (FVA) vehicles are cleaned and dispatch ready. The position also instructs clients how the vehicle operates, performs basic service calls within or near Whitehorse City limits, including boosting vehicles and changing flat tires for clients (city or highway conditions). Often working outdoors, this position contributes to facility maintenance by shoveling, sweeping, cleaning, weed whacking, around the buildings and yard compound. Other equipment used in the course of the position include snow blowers, front end loaders, and miscellaneous power and hand tools. The position also routinely works with high-heat, high-pressure equipment while cleaning vehicles. Some office duties include entering work order details into the Fleet Management system, some data entry and notifying clients when vehicles are ready for pickup

Essential Qualifications

- Experience with vehicle operation and maintenance in a workplace setting,
- Experience providing excellent customer service,
- Experience washing and cleaning vehicles (detailing) in a workplace setting, Experience using Microsoft Office.
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.

- Strong work ethic, Willingness to learn to operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
Conditions of Employment
This is a designated position within the Yukon public service which requires the following condition(s) of employment:

Valid Yukon class 5 driver’s license;

Must obtain and maintain WHMIS (within 1 month of hire)
