About the role

Cambrian Credit Union is currently seeking aSupervisor, Centralized Administrationto join our Centralized Administrative Processing (CAP) team.
The CAP department is a centralized team of administrative processing operations, designed to streamline end-to-end member service, regardless of how our members choose to interact with us.
As a key part of the CAP leadership team, the Supervisor, Centralized Administration is accountable for delivering results, teamwork, continuous improvements & problem solving and decision making at a leadership level. The Supervisor, Centralized Administration is responsible for the direct people leadership of their team, leveraging their ability to inspire, guide and create an inclusive and supportive environment to motivate individuals and teams to perform at their best to achieve their goals. People leadership includes the responsibility to mentor, motivate, coach and develop a high performing team to engage in the execution of strategic initiatives.
In the role of Supervisor, Centralized Administration, you will:
- Lead an assigned group CAP employees, including identifying appropriate training and development needs, coaching and correcting performance issues and completing performance reviews.
- Oversee all departmental functions, deliver high quality, accurate, compliant, and timely completion of operational requirements. Create and maintain an environment that fosters good morale, teamwork and encourages service excellence.
- Utilize change management skills to motivate the need for change, help staff to understand what the change means to them, provide ongoing guidance, support and commitment to change.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and work in collaboration with CAP team to deliver high member service through simplifying, saving time and money.
- Conduct team huddles, one on one meetings with all direct reports and monthly team meetings to mentor, motivate, coach, provide performance feedback and develop a high performing team.
- Empower others to resolve problems independently and allocate decision-making authority and/or responsibility that is aligned with their role.
- Develop and maintain relationships to strengthen team effectiveness and engage in meaningful and effective communication with all staff members across the organization to help increase moral and change management initiatives.
- Support the Director, CAP in identifying objectives, measures and strategic priorities, through planning workshops and ongoing dialogue.
- Collaborate effectively with peers, working as an aligned team of Supervisors within CAP.
Your Education & Experience:
- Post secondary education in Business Administration or Management considered an asset.
- Three years' experience in financial industry, preferably in a credit union.
- Previous experience in leadership, administration and/or change management considered an asset.
- Proficient in PC applications of Outlook, Word & Excel.
- Innovative and critical thinker who analyzes information and uses logic to address issues, problems, and challenges.
- Ability to work well in a diverse environment with multiple and often changing priorities.
