Job Description:

The Glass Technician is responsible for installing and repairing auto glass in-shop or mobile basis. The Glass Technician works with all team members in achieving the repair facilities' KPIs.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan
• Installs auto glass and other auto glass products in-shop or on a mobile basis
• Utilizes the proper tools and techniques to ensure efficient, timely, and quality installation service
• Ensures required paperwork is completed and turned in to the appropriate person or location
• Maintains a safe and acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy
• Load glass in the van
• Immediately follow up with the General Manager on any problems that arise in the installation of the glass.
• Seek learning opportunities ensuring all work meets high quality standards, maintaining a low return rate and supporting operational excellence.

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required for the Job

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of Post-Secondary Education in an Automotive Repair Program
• Minimum 3 years of Auto Glass Technician experience
• Red Seal certification

Preferred Education and/or Experience

• I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification) is an asset

Other RequirementsTravel, physical requirements, etc.

• Frequently required to bend, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift approximately 50 lbs.
• You have your own tools
• Valid driver’s license required

Compensation Details

Compensation:

$20 - $25 per hour

Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.
